      • CRAFTS ALIVE

A co-operative of local makers creating and selling handmade work in West Wales.

      • CA Artist of the Month

        Andrew Warren

I am a landscape photographer working almost exclusively in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

In 2006 I was shortlisted for The Outdoor Photographer of The Year Competition, and I have won a number of other competitions and awards. My aim is to provide an interpretation of what I see around me, and increasingly in the everyday. My preferred medium is black & white, but I also work extensively with coloured images.

As well as landscapes, I also undertake commissions and do a small amount of commercial work. I find documentary photography hugely rewarding (if not very commercial!), and I enjoy experimenting with finding forms of communication through the photographic image.

      • What's On

We at Crafts Alive are proud to support and stock Victoria House Weavery products.

Founded in 1981, Victoria House is set up to accommodate people with mild learning difficulties aged 18–64. All residents are encouraged to live their lives as independently as possible. This family-feel accommodation, with its own house manager, is located in Llangadog, where carers and residents share household responsibilities, social activities, and mealtimes.
