Viv Kersey is the January Featured Artist in Crafts Alive and you can see her work downstairs as well as in the upstairs gallery.
Viv lives on a smallholding near Llanwrda and finds great inspiration in the wildlife of the area. She makes small editions of original prints including wood and linocuts, etchings, collagraphs and monotypes. Her subjects are often birds and she chooses the printmaking process which will best express the spirit of a particular species, trying to capture movement, form and colour. Each print is made by hand in her studio and is not a reproduction.
